Velislav guided me around Plovdiv for a day: we climbed some of its hills, ambled about the old town, dined at a local restaurant, frequented the old Roman sights, took in the old Gypsy district.

A very personal (able) Trip to the Rila mountain. We ended up doing a pretty much all day hike into the Rila mountains and the Seven Rila lakes, then back down and eventually over (by car) to Rila Monastery.
